Dataspace Protocol Preview by International Data Spaces Association (IDSA)
Innovation based on Dataspace Protocol
IDSA is presenting the Dataspace Protocol on March 9th, and inviting developers, data scientists, and data space enthusiasts to collaborate and build data spaces based on this protocol. The Dataspace Protocol comprises a set of specifications that enable interoperable data sharing between entities based on Web technologies, while ensuring usage control. These specifications establish the schemas and protocols required for entities to publish data, negotiate usage agreements, and access data as part of a data space federation. The Dataspace Protocol will serve as the basis for technical interoperability in data spaces.
The morning session (9 am to 12 pm CET) will feature keynote speeches, statements from data space initiatives, and connector providers, followed by an in-depth dive into the protocol itself. There will be ample time for Q&A. The afternoon session (1 pm to 4 pm CET) will provide an opportunity to learn how to build a minimum viable data space using the Eclipse Data Space Components (EDC).
