A building block is a crucial component that can be implemented and combined with other building blocks to achieve the necessary functionality of a dataspace. At the very least, it includes the fundamental specifications, and as it evolves, it incorporates more detailed specifications, sample implementations or templates, as well as instructions, training, testing, and support elements required to facilitate the delivery of the key ingredients of dataspaces.
