Connect & Integrate has been certified for the Product Carbon Footprint use case under the latest Catena-X Titan release, expanding one of the broadest certification portfolios in the Catena-X ecosystem.
Product Carbon Footprint is becoming one of the most important cross-company data use cases in the automotive value chain. OEMs increasingly need reliable, standardized and traceable CO₂ information from their supply chains. Suppliers, meanwhile, need a practical way to exchange it without building and operating dataspace infrastructure themselves.
T-Systems has been part of Catena-X from the beginning, as a founding member of the Catena-X Automotive Network and one of the shareholders behind Cofinity-X. With this recognition, our certifications now cover the full path from advisory to productive data exchange:
- Qualified Advisory Provider: Global Catena-X experts supporting customers worldwide
- Onboarding Service Provider: Simplified access to the Cofinity-X portal
- Enablement Service Provider: Seamless data exchange in the Catena-X dataspace
- Business Application Provider PCF: Trusted Product Carbon Footprint sharing
- Business Application Provider CCM: Standardized management and exchange of company certificates
- Business Application Provider Traceability: Transparency across the automotive value chain
Few partners in the ecosystem hold certifications across advisory, onboarding, connectivity and productive business applications alike. For customers that means one partner across the whole Catena-X journey, rather than a different one at every stage.
What the Titan certification covers
Connect & Integrate now supports standardized exchange of product-level carbon data according to PCF rulebook 4.0 and Catena-X standard CX-0136, certified under the Titan release. It delivers this as a managed, cloud-agnostic service, so participation in Catena-X does not become an infrastructure project in itself.
The certification covers more than the moment of exchange. T-Systems supports companies from collecting and preparing carbon information through to securely sharing standardized PCF data with business partners — a practical step from isolated sustainability reporting toward interoperable Scope 3 and product-level carbon data chains.
Already in use across a global supplier network
T-Systems is officially supporting Ford in connecting around 70+ suppliers worldwide to Catena-X, with reliable and traceable CO₂ information across the supply chain as a key objective.
For those suppliers, Catena-X does not have to become another complex IT transformation. T-Systems supports organizations regardless of size, region or digital maturity — from onboarding, through connectivity, to productive data exchange.
The same foundation extends to further use cases such as Traceability, Company Certificate Management, Blocking Notifications, ECU and other Catena-X and OEM-specific scenarios.
