Dataspace Governance
Glossary Page
Governance refers to a framework of rules, practices, and procedures that govern and manage an organization and the mechanisms that hold it and its stakeholders accountable. The four main pillars of good governance are transparency, fairness, accountability, and security. In the context of dataspaces, one of the key objectives of governance is to ensure data governance. Governance in dataspaces occurs at various levels, including laws and regulations, governance of common building blocks and assets, sector-specific and inter-dataspace governance, governance of specific dataspaces, and self-regulation of individual dataspace participants.
