Dynamic Stability Control
Glossary Page
Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) facilitates vehicle control even under adverse conditions and on difficult road surfaces, thus actively enhancing driving safety. The core of the chassis control systems in BMW vehicles is the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). It optimizes both the driving stability in all driving conditions and the traction during starting and accelerating. It detects unstable driving conditions such as understeer or oversteer and assists in keeping the vehicle on a safe course.
