Glossary Page

The term "standard care" originates from the German Health Care Modernization Act (GMG) and refers to dental treatment with dentures for statutorily insured persons. In this context, standard care is defined as medically appropriate, expedient and economically justifiable dental prostheses. The fixed allowances of the statutory health insurers are calculated on the basis of these standard restorations.
