Glossary Page
x-trans.eu, introduced by the state of Bavaria as a pilot project during the IT Summit of 2010, focuses on the practical implementation and testing of the innovative concept called Process Data Accelerator (referred to as P23R) for reporting obligations in cross-border heavy goods transportation. Building upon previous research efforts, x-trans.eu has developed a comprehensive "Transport Data Model" to automatically select and electronically transmit the required application data for a transport request in Germany or Austria based on country-specific rules. The P23R principle ensures that application data only needs to be entered once and can be utilized for multiple transport requests in different countries. Starting from 2013, the cross-border IT solution is scheduled to transition into regular operations and undergo further expansion and development within the European context.
