TÜV Süd & T-Systems: Building trust in Catena-X with Battery Data
TÜV Süd and T-Systems have joined forces to accelerate onboarding into the Catena-X data ecosystem and develop new trust-building services for the automotive value chain. Together, we implemented a tailored onboarding program, from consulting and sandbox testing to a scalable demonstrator focused on battery data. TÜV Süd explored roles as data consumer, provider, and verifier, with the verifier role proving most valuable for ensuring data integrity. The result: a joint proof of concept enabling secure validation of battery passport and digital twin data through verifiable credentials—strengthening trust, transparency, and collaboration across Catena-X.
