VDMA and T-Systems have collaborated to build the first Manufacturing-X Demonstrator, showcasing the benefits of open standards in federated dataspaces. The demonstrator combines Umati’s dataspace for operational data with the Build & Operate platform, enabling the testing and development of new applications based on data analysis and processing.

This integration allows machines to exchange machinery data via OPC UA across companies, driving sustainable innovation in the manufacturing industry by creating data ecosystems that facilitate the exchange and utilization of production data.
