René von Stillfried is a business development executive and Portfolio Manager at the Telekom Data Intelligence Hub. He worked extensively in the Catena-X consortium, as Co-Lead and epic owner introducing Case Studies based on the software developments in scope. The team set up the first MVP tests for Traceability and Circular Economy proving the successful build up of Data Chains over several supplier tiers. So far, 2 batches and 3 waves of case studies have been executed with over 12 companies members of the CX association. The findings were reflected to the dev-teams and the market feedback incorporated into future development.
Further, he supports the technology transfer of highly scalable and interoperable dataspace tech into Manufacturing-X, an new major initiative to extend the Catena-X experience into a holistic manufacturing market approach. Together with Telekom and further associations he is supporting the the expansion of sovereign data exchange adding his experience into concepts to turn our vision into reality: Life is for sharing - on your own terms.
Shifting his activities form the CX Case Studies in 2023, he has begun to build up health care squad at TSI to build up our health care market approach. This includes the introduction of dataspace technologies for a sovereign data-exchange among clinics and research institutes to improve health procedures and the development of treatments and new medicine.
He is a strategic minded commercially and client focussed executive with extensive experience in leading businesses in B2B Software (SaaS) and Hardware (electronics) development, defining innovative initiatives across ideation, concept development, and prototyping phases up to market introduction of new products.
He built his professional background in the field of car manufacturing as managing director for a SME, doubling team size within 3 years and leading the automotive business unit with teams of up to 150 talented people after merger. He developed scalable business models, key industry clients and strong, diverse teams with a passion for technology.
As C-level advisor, he spearheaded lean start-up corporate innovation and new product development for clients based on the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps method and played a pivotal role in IoT/Industry 4.0 projects in conjunction with transformational products.
As Co-inventor of the sound-detective tool he introduced an infrasound IoT wearable for workers in manufacturing using AI-SW to detect faulty manufacturing steps during assembly.
He gave several interviews with journalists regarding IoT and digital transformation, (2017-2020) and contributed to „Bussysteme in der Fahrzeugtechnik – Protokolle, Standards und Softwarearchitektur (‚Field bus systems in vehicle technology – protocols, standards and software architecture‘)
