"Mobility Analytics" series: From symptoms to root cause to first solutions
This series is applying “Economics of data” (from section on "Dataspaces") to the data-driven transformation of the automotive & mobility business: It starts bottom up to lay out the challenges systematically … from service shift in automotive (story #1) and mobility is broken (story # 3) … to first solutions, such as intermodal travel for speed and sustainability (story #4).

Case study: Catena-X data ecosystem
Deutsche Telekom was co-founder of the Automotive Alliance network, which evolved into Catena-X Automotive Network, a 3-year, EUR 250 million consortium of 28 companies with funding by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWK).
The Catena-X ecosystem is comprised of (1) a dataspace, (2) first-data product templates for data chains like digital twins, and (3) super-apps like product carbon footprint (PCF) tracking and material traceability for material pass and next-generation quality management.
