Im Dezember 2025 stärkte T-Systems die Präsenz von Catena-X und trusted dataspaces in Asien durch zwei zentrale Veranstaltungen: den Catena-X Supplier Onboarding Day in Tokio und den Global Data Spaces Roundtable in Peking. Von praxisnahem Supplier Onboarding bis hin zu großskaligen Automotive-Piloten in China standen regulatorische Anforderungen, Datensouveränität und sicherer unternehmensübergreifender Datenaustausch im Fokus. Gemeinsam mit Partnern wie Siemens, BMW Group, BASF und Flex zeigte T-Systems, wie dataspaces skalierbare und regelkonforme Zusammenarbeit entlang globaler automobilen Wertschöpfungsketten ermöglichen.

The Catena-X taskforce, together with CAAM, launched the “China Automotive Industry Trusted Data Space” pilot at IAA Munich, enabling secure, compliant, and scalable local data exchange for Chinese OEMs and suppliers, starting with Certificate Management. Early results show faster, traceable, and machine-readable certificate transactions, laying the foundation for future quality, sustainability, and PCF use cases.

T-Systems has launched its Connect & Integrate service on local infrastructure in China, enabling Chinese suppliers and manufacturers to securely and efficiently join the Catena-X ecosystem, bridging connectivity with global OEMs while ensuring data sovereignty and regulatory compliance.

At LEAP 2025, T-Systems and Detasad showcased cutting-edge dataspace solutions, driving secure data collaboration, AI innovation, and compliance in Saudi Arabia. Through strategic partnerships and cloud-agnostic platforms, we empower businesses to scale, optimize operations, and unlock new revenue opportunities in the region’s thriving digital economy.

T-Systems and NTT Communications are collaborating to accelerate the development of data ecosystems in Japan by providing a cloud-based dataspace test environment. Using open-source software from the Eclipse Foundation, the test environment, operated in Germany, allows Japanese organizations to explore dataspace interoperability and connect with European initiatives like Gaia-X. The collaboration aims to foster data sovereignty, increase developers and users, and facilitate multi-regional dataspace integration.
