Die Wirtschaftsinformatik konzentriert sich auf die Schaffung und Aufrechterhaltung von Informationssystemen innerhalb eines Unternehmens. Sie umfasst das Design und die Entwicklung von Systemen, die Geschäftsprozesse unterstützen und Organisationen bei der Erreichung ihrer Ziele helfen. Sie befasst sich auch mit den Herausforderungen der Integration dieser Systeme in bestehende Infrastrukturen und der Gewährleistung ihrer effektiven Nutzung durch Benutzer.
