A webinar for the Japanese industry: Battery Passport, Catena-X and the Data Space Accelerator

Catena-X has moved from pilot to practice: certificates, carbon data and product information are being requested across automotive supply chains today, and suppliers are being asked to deliver them on a common standard. The Data Space Accelerator — funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and carried out by IDSA together with Catena-X Automotive Network e.V. and Cofinity-X — remunerates companies with €15,000 net for their first productive use case and up to €30,000 net for a second. In this 60-minute session, Christoph Mertens (IDSA), Jon Becker (Cofinity-X) and Chris S. Langdon (T-Systems) explain how dataspaces work, where a company plugs into the Catena-X ecosystem, what the use cases look like in practice, and how to complete the application and milestones before the programme closes at the end of 2026.

Hosted at the SAP Seoul Office and organized by T-Systems with support from SAP Korea, Catena-X, NTT Docomo Business, and Cofinity-X, the event will introduce the business value of Catena-X, participation pathways, and key use cases including Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), Traceability, Quality, and Company Certificate Management. Participants will gain practical guidance on requirements, timelines, and costs, and will have the opportunity to sign up onsite for the onboarding program while learning from Catena-X experts.
