Data Space Accelerator: your funded start in Catena-X before the end of 2026

Catena-X replaces fragmented data exchange and costly one-to-one integrations with a single unified network interface: connect once, then meet requirements such as digital product passport and product carbon footprint tracking — and open up digital twin opportunities — with every OEM and your own suppliers at scale. At the free Catena-X Supplier Onboarding Day in Barcelona on 17 September, hosted by ANFAC and SERNAUTO as coordinators of the Catena-X Spain Hub, Catena-X experts walk through business value, participation pathways, costs and timelines, with deep dives into Product Carbon Footprint, Traceability, Quality and Certificate Management. Japanese suppliers are facing the same question from several directions at once: the EU battery passport is becoming a market-access requirement, customers are asking for verified product data, and the standards behind decentralized data sharing are still settling. In this one-hour online session, practitioners from NTT DOCOMO Business, DENSO and T-Systems focus on what already works in practice — including a battery passport solution in productive use — and on how the IDSA Data Space Accelerator study can fund a Catena-X start. The session is held in Japanese, with two main sections in English, and questions can be submitted in advance or asked live.

The Catena-X Supplier Onboarding Day is a free, in-person event designed to help suppliers begin and accelerate their onboarding to the Catena-X data ecosystem. Taking place on May 22 at the AIAG Headquarters in Detroit as a follow-up to the AIAG Catena-X Conference, the session will introduce the business value of Catena-X and guide participants through participation pathways, requirements, costs, and timelines. Attendees will gain practical insights into key use cases such as Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), Traceability, Quality, Certificate Management, and BMW ECU, with the opportunity to sign up onsite for the onboarding program. The event is supported by AIAG, BMW, Ford, and Flex, and delivered by Catena-X experts.

The Catena-X Supplier Onboarding Day Korea is a free in-person and online event designed to help suppliers begin their Catena-X journey and accelerate onboarding to the automotive industry’s collaborative data ecosystem. Hosted at the SAP Seoul Office and organized by T-Systems with support from SAP Korea, Catena-X, NTT Docomo Business, and Cofinity-X, the event will introduce the business value of Catena-X, participation pathways, and key use cases including Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), Traceability, Quality, and Company Certificate Management. Participants will gain practical guidance on requirements, timelines, and costs, and will have the opportunity to sign up onsite for the onboarding program while learning from Catena-X experts.
