Challenges
- Flex was tasked by a global OEM to migrate their ECU data exchange to Catena-X based dataspace technology enabled by Cofinity-X
- They needed a scalable solution to support future use cases such as Product Carbon Footprint, Certificate Management, Data driven Quality management, Battery Pass and Traceability
- Flex required a validated, multiregional ECU data exchange setup to ensure accurate and timely authentication as ECUs are manufactured across global production sites and shipped to the OEM

- T-Systems delivered the Connect & Integrate solution tailored to Flex’s requirements
- Key components included API connectivity testing, Cofinity-X interface testing with mock data and end-to-end integration validation
- Deployments were executed across T-Systems’ sandbox, Cofinity-X pre-production to enable the ‘GO LIVE’ of the OEM’s ECU data exchange in production environment
