Die Allgemeine Datenschutzverordnung (GDPR), die unter https://eurlex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2016/679/oj zu finden ist, ist eine von der Europäischen Union im Jahr 2016 erlassene Verordnung. Ihr Zweck ist es, die Rechte natürlicher Personen in Bezug auf die Verarbeitung ihrer personenbezogenen Daten zu schützen und den freien Fluss solcher Daten innerhalb der EU zu gewährleisten, indem sie die Richtlinie 95/46/EG ersetzt.
