Konsumgüter (Consumer Packaged Goods, CPG) umfassen Produkte, die für den direkten Verbrauch bestimmt sind, wie Lebensmittel und Getränke, Bekleidung und Schuhe, Tabakwaren und Reinigungsmittel. CPGs sind in der Regel Verbrauchsgüter, die regelmäßig verwendet oder aufgebraucht werden und häufig nachgekauft werden müssen. Dadurch unterscheiden sie sich von langlebigen Gütern wie Autos und Möbeln, die in der Regel über einen längeren Zeitraum behalten werden.
