Eine relationale Datenbank (RDB) besteht aus einer Sammlung mehrerer Datensätze, die in Tabellen, Datensätzen und Spalten organisiert sind. Sie stellt eine strukturierte Verbindung zwischen diesen Datenbanktabellen her. Die Tabellen arbeiten zusammen und tauschen Informationen aus, was eine effiziente Datenabfrage, Organisation und Berichterstellung ermöglicht. RDBs nutzen die Structured Query Language (SQL), eine weit verbreitete Programmierschnittstelle, die die Interaktion mit der Datenbank für Benutzer vereinfacht.

T-Systems and NTT Communications partnership: Connecting dataspaces globally with a test environment for dataspaces in Japan
