Ein Workload in Kubernetes bezieht sich auf eine Anwendung, die derzeit auf der Plattform ausgeführt wird. Zu den Kernobjekten, die verschiedene Typen oder Komponenten eines Workloads darstellen, gehören die Objekte DaemonSet, Deployment, Job, ReplicaSet und StatefulSet. Ein Workload, der sowohl einen Webserver als auch eine Datenbank umfasst, kann beispielsweise die Ausführung der Datenbank in einem StatefulSet-Objekt beinhalten, während der Webserver in einem separaten Deployment-Objekt bereitgestellt wird.
