Data Ecosystems and Sharing: The Fuel for Next-Level Efficiency with Super Apps and AI
Join us at CES 2025 from Jan 7 to 10 in Las Vegas – 4 sessions
CES is renowned for showcasing tech innovations, sometimes bold, mostly with real-world impact, such as flat-screen TVs, 3D printing, self-driving cars, foldable phones, and 5G communications. This year, we are thrilled to join the tech pioneers in uncovering the early business impact of the global rise of data ecosystems like Catena-X from Europe and Ouranos from Japan. These ecosystems address the challenge of seamless, trusted cross-organizational data sharing, enabling the rich data necessary for super-apps and AI to drive next-level business efficiency—and even accomplish the seemingly impossible.
But don’t just take our word for it … come and see for yourself! We are excited to share key lessons learned, drawn directly from examples presented by our customers and partners.
(1) Jan 8, 1-2pm PST: Unlocking value from data exchange beyond company borders – Examples from Catena-X ecosystem
Location: PwC Experience Lounge located in the Wedding Chapel of the Venetian Hotel, which is part of the CES Venetian Campus, located between the LVCC in the North and C Space at the Aria in the South, register now, location info
Collaboration across the mobility value chain can be challenging—particularly when it involves sharing sensitive data. Join our expert panel to discover how distributed, secure, and trustful data-sharing alliances like Catena-X are gaining traction globally. Learn from real-world case studies including on sustainability compliance, particularly tracking CO₂ emissions and calculating PCFs with primary scope-3 data with Ford Motor Company and Flex.
Speakers: Jonas Seyffert, Director at Strategy&; Nicole Stevenson, VP Strategy & Marketing at Flex Automotive; Prof. Dr. Chris Schlueter Langdon, Business Executive & Scientist at Deutsche Telekom, and Product Manager of Catena-X Consortium
(2) Jan 8, 3-4pm PST: Dataspaces – Accelerating data readiness across silos for super-apps and AI
Location: IAV Booth 10115, North Hall, which is part of LVCC in the North
Dataspace technology has enabled data ecosystems like Catena-X, fostering trusted cross-organizational data sharing. This delivers the rich, high-quality data essential for next-level performance in applications and generative AI. However, early adopters have learned to first make their internal data accessible. Fortunately, T-Systems’ new dataspace products can also effectively bridge internal data silos. Delivered as browser-based Dataspace-as-a-Service, these solutions streamline adoption, avoid complex system integration, and accelerate the path from idea to results. Watch senior IAV executives discuss the impact on Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) solutions.
Speakers: Saskia Kohlhaas, CDO & Executive Vice President IT at IAV; Jürgen Müller, Executive Vice President Connected Software Systems & Services at IAV; Dr. Alexander Joos, Senior Vice President Digital Solutions Powertrain at IAV; Prof. Dr. Chris Schlueter Langdon, Executive & Scientist, Telekom, and Product Manager of Catena-X Consortium
(3) Jan 9 (11-Noon PST – to be confirmed): New strategic advantage and efficiency gains with trusted cross-organizational data sharing for product quality, truthful digital twins, sustainability across supply chains, internal data readiness
Location: Aria Hotel, which is part of C Space at the Aria in the South
Discover how Catena-X dataspace technology facilitates trusted, secure data sharing across organizations to enable enhanced product quality, targeted recalls, compliance with sustainability regulations, and internal data readiness. Learn how these solutions can improve data access for digital twins and generative AI applications, seamlessly integrating with existing cloud environments.
Participants: Nicole Stevenson, VP Strategy & Marketing at Flex Automotive; Saskia Kohlhaas, CDO & Executive Vice President IT at IAV; Roger Berg; VP R&D North America Research at DENSO; Christian Hort, SVP of Automotive at T-Systems International
