BMW is introducing a new, secure, and standardized way to exchange company certificates such as AEO/CTPAT, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001. Instead of multiple portals or manual email requests, compliance information will now be shared via Catena‑X Certificate Management (CCM).
To support suppliers in this transition, BMW and T‑Systems International GmbH, the selected onboarding partner, are offering a series of orientation webinars. These sessions provide an overview of the CCM use case, BMW’s expectations, and the practical steps required: registration, app access, certificate upload, and sharing.
What to Expect
- Background: Why Catena‑X is becoming BMW’s standard
- Which certificates BMW will request in the future
- Process overview: registration with Cofinity‑X / Catena‑X and access to the CCM app
- Live demo: uploading certificates and making them available to BMW
- Next steps for your company
- Q&A session
The webinars are offered in English and German, ensuring accessibility for all suppliers. Each session includes a live demonstration of the process, but participants are not expected to perform any actions during the webinar itself.
