Hannover Messe 2025: T-Systems connecting data silos to unlock AI potential
Hannover Messe is the most important international platform for technologies related to industrial transformation, showcasing outstanding innovations and groundbreaking products. This year, the event will take place from March 31 to April 4, bringing together industry leaders, technology experts, and innovators.
Our Telekom Data Intelligence Hub team will be present at [A] booths and [B] sessions (session times are in CET). These sessions will be held at four locations: the Industry 4.0 stage, the Gaia-X booth, the Conference Center, and the Sustainability Supply Forum stage.
[A] OUR BOOTHS
(1) Mar 31–Apr 4: VDMA-Umati
Location: Hall 9, F25
We will showcase the first global Manufacturing-X demonstrator, which integrates a distributed supply chain across Europe, Asia, and the United States using open standards and dataspace infrastructure. The demonstrator uses Digital Product Passports (DPP) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) values to track the environmental impact of products, like chocolate, through each stage of production, from roasting to packaging. By enabling secure, real-time data exchanges within a trusted ecosystem, businesses can ensure transparency, compliance with sustainability regulations, and drive innovation in manufacturing. This initiative highlights how digital transformation, along with advanced technologies like Digital Twin and GAIA-X, fosters a more sustainable, interoperable, and competitive global supply chain.
(2) Mar 31–Apr 4: "RoX - Digital ecosystem for AI-based robotics" at Industry 4.0
Location: Hall 8, D26
The aim of RoX is to design and exemplarily implement a decentralized data and service ecosystem. This supports the development of advanced robotic systems that rely heavily on AI and can be efficiently adapted to changing conditions over their entire life cycle. In addition, the RoX ecosystem enables comprehensive and value-adding cooperation and collaboration between all relevant stakeholders. Data spaces within digital ecosystems are an important building block for this, as they allow data to be used in a synergetic, secure and scalable way, for example, to raise existing robot systems and components to a new level of quality or efficiency with the help of AI and corresponding tools.
(3) Mar 31–Apr 4: T-Systems metaverse display at Industry 4.0
Location: Hall 8, D26, at the Metaverse area
T-Systems will showcase innovative solutions, an immersive VR paint shop for virtual training in production, which allows trainee painters to practice with realistic simulations and a 3D printed spray gun controller for enhanced haptics. T-Systems will also present cloud infrastructure solutions, including autonomous logistics and automated pallet management, demonstrating cutting-edge technology in manufacturing and logistics.
(4) Mar 31–Apr 4: Catena-X at Industry 4.0
Location: Hall 8, D26
Many of the current challenges in the industry, e.g. in the areas of sustainability, resilience and regulation, can no longer be solved by one company alone. They can only be tackled successfully through trust-based collaboration between all partners along the entire value chain. For this reason, Catena-X is offering the first open and collaborative data space for the automotive industry, thereby improving business processes through data-driven value chains. Each participant retains sovereignty over their data in the decentralized data ecosystem, because the companies you collaborate with only have access to the data that you have previously released individually for each player. Benefit from our use cases in areas such as traceability, circular economy, quality management, certificate management, sustainability, demand & capacity management, and modular production.
(5) Mar 31–Apr 4: Factory-X at Industry 4.0
